Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Management System/Wave Planner in Owensboro, Kentucky. The role offers a rotating 12-hour shift pattern with weekly pay and a path to growth within a safety-first supply chain environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of warehouse experience and working knowledge of MS Office and WMS systems. Forklift certification may be required depending on location, with strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years warehouse experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel). Working knowledge of WMS systems.
• Forklift experience.
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting standard facility KPI targets for safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance.
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules.
• Communicate with carriers regarding appointment settings and load statuses.
• Coordinate with Operations Supervisor to balance workload and manage WMS on the floor.
• Collaborate with inventory and on-site personnel to resolve daily order issues.
• Interact with customers to communicate order changes and updates.
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets and reports.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Hourly Pay $22.50 per hour
• Schedule: Rotating schedule 3 days one week, 4 days next week. 12 hour shifts

• Create and maintain daily dock schedules
• Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and upating load statuses
• Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure the work load is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor
• Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve and problems with the day's orders
• Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
• Perform other duties as required or assigned
