Job summary

Wheatland Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Coordinator to manage inventory, ensure system accuracy, and coordinate daily operations on site. The role supports safe material movement and SAP/MES system troubleshooting to ensure accurate shipments.

Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, safety-focused, with strong MS Office, SAP, and MES skills, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical degree preferred.
• Experience in warehouse operations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote health and safety work practices per policy.
• Maintain weekly warehouse team schedules to support coverage.
• Identify and build loads for material stored outside directly off mills.
• Maintain daily warehouse documentation including inspections, logs, and safety checklists.
• Troubleshoot SAP shipping issues to support timely shipments.
• Manage and order weekly warehouse dunnage requirements.
• Submit purchase requisitions for warehouse needs.
• Partner with load build teams to ensure loads fit trailers safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular, full-time, onsite attendance as an essential function.

About the Role

As a Warehouse Inventory Coordinator at Wheatland Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in managing warehouse inventory, maintaining system accuracy, and coordinating day-to-day warehouse operations. This role supports safe and efficient material movement by overseeing scheduling, documentation, load preparation, and system troubleshooting. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and confident working in SAP and warehouse systems.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and promote health and safety work practices in accordance with regulatory agencies and company policy.
• Maintain weekly warehouse team member schedules to support operational coverage.
• Identify and build loads for material that can be stored outside directly off the mills.
• Maintain daily warehouse documentation including mobile equipment inspections, scanner/device log sheets, and daily safety checklists.
• Troubleshoot and correct SAP shipping-related issues to support timely and accurate shipments.
• Manage and order weekly warehouse dunnage requirements.
• Submit purchase requisitions for warehouse needs.
• Partner with load build teams to ensure loads are built correctly to fit trailers safely and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance as an essential function of the role.

Who You Are

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; technical degree preferred. Work-related experience preferred. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, and MES. Strong communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Understanding of production procedures and warehouse operations. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Physical Abilities

• Ability to perform physical tasks required in a warehouse and manufacturing environment, including standing, walking, and handling materials as needed.
• Ability to work safely around moving equipment and in areas with industrial hazards.

Base Hourly Range: [$20.00–$24.00 USD]
