Job description

Overview

The Warehouse Coordinator position is primarily responsible for the inventory, storage, and distribution of warehouse equipment and supplies while acting in accordance with company values, vision and mission.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels for all warehouse equipment and supplies.
  • Process inventory counts on required intervals.
  • Address all service, maintenance, supply, and parts requests in a timely manner.
  • Repair damaged equipment to service; includes but is to traffic control devices, towable units, trailers and vehicles.
  • Promptly complete all documentation associated with service, maintenance, supplies, and parts.
  • Complete daily paperwork and file electronically.
  • Review shipping and receiving orders for accuracy.
  • Prep, clean, and detail fleet vehicles to company standards in a timely manner.
  • Process the changeover and issuance of fleet vehicles to assigned employees and process all applicable documentation each day.
  • Conduct general facility maintenance as required.
  • Responsible for cleanliness and organization of facility and parking areas.
  • Perform repair work on vehicles and equipment as needed.
  • Comply with all fleet and equipment policies and procedures, including but not limited to purchasing, spending limits, work orders, and repair authorizations.
  • Assist other fleet and warehouse employees as needed.
  • Organize and prepare equipment for work orders.
  • Escalate, when necessary, any issues or problems to warehouse supervisor promptly.
  • Return all warehouse materials to their normal position at the end of each shift. Attend and participate in fleet/warehouse department meetings as necessary.
  • Perform special projects as needed or assigned by Warehouse Supervisor. Assist with driver/vehicle/equipment safety programs.
  • In addition to the functions listed above, the employee is expected to act in accordance with company values, vision and mission, to exercise honesty, integrity and respect with all clients and co-workers, demonstrate leadership, maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, demonstrate a positive attitude, communicate effectively with co-workers and clients, work with accuracy, efficiency and close attention to detail, maintain good attendance by working when and where directed, respect the work environment and keep it as neat and clean as possible and exercise initiative to learn new skills and tasks. The employee is also expected to perform other duties and functions as required.

  • Preferred experience: Previous warehouse/shop experience.
  • Preferred experience: Mechanical experience and tool knowledge.
  • Preferred experience: Vehicle/trailer electrical wiring experience or knowledge
