Job summary

La Vaquita Cheese is seeking a dependable warehouse associate to perform a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, moving, and distributing items within a cooler environment. You will unload and load trucks, read orders and schedules, and ensure accurate recording of received and shipped items.

You must work well in a team, maintain accuracy in inventory counts, perform basic math, follow instructions, and adapt to changing demands while keeping a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–2 years of warehouse, distribution, production, or related experience.
• Certification and/or license may be required for forklift or related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, store, move and distribute items in a warehouse or cooler environment.
• Unload and load trucks, pallets, cases and other loads as required.
• Read production schedules and orders to determine items to move or distribute.
• Record received and shipped items and maintain accurate inventory counts.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and follow defined processes.

Job description

Perform various warehouse and inventory tasks. Receive, process, store, move, and distribute items (products, materials, ingredients, equipment, supplies, etc.) within a warehouse or cooler/refrigerated environment. Unload and load trucks, truck trailers , cases, pallets , stacks, etc. Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand , hand truck, or electric hand truck. Record received and shipped items . Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Work within clearly defined processes and tasks.

• Certification and/or License - may require forklift , walk behind jack , or other related work certifications
