Job summary

DFAMILK in Houston seeks a warehouse associate to receive, process, store, move and distribute items in a temperature-controlled environment. You will unload and load trucks, read schedules, and ensure accurate material handling.

The role requires teamwork, precise inventory counts, clear communication, and following defined processes. A HS diploma and 1–2 years of related experience are needed; forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, store, move and distribute items in a warehouse or cooler.
• Unload/load trucks, trailers, cases and pallets.
• Read production schedules and orders to determine items to move or ship.
• Convey materials between receiving, storage or other areas by hand or with equipment.
• Record received and shipped items and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Follow defined processes and tasks consistently.

Job description

Perform various warehouse and inventory tasks. Receive, process, store, move, and distribute items (products, materials, ingredients, equipment, supplies, etc.) within a warehouse or cooler/refrigerated environment. Unload and load trucks, truck trailers , cases, pallets , stacks, etc. Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand , hand truck, or electric hand truck. Record received and shipped items . Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Work within clearly defined processes and tasks.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years of warehouse, distribution, production , or related experience
• Certification and/or License - may require forklift , walk behind jack , or other related work certifications
