Job summary

IKEA is seeking a Warehouse Co-worker to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. The role covers picking, packing, receiving, shipping, and inventory control with a focus on accuracy, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Shifts run Wednesday through Saturday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a pay rate of $19.92 per hour. This permanent full-time position offers benefits and opportunities for growth within the IKEA distribution network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./30kgs ergonomically.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken.
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform core warehouse processes including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, replenishment, and storing of goods.
• Execute daily operations using systems and tools to support efficient workflows and data integrity.
• Unload, process, and handle inbound and outbound merchandise safely.
• Identify, document, and remove any damages found or caused during handling of merchandise.
• Contribute to goal setting for overall warehouse operations and support implementation of local business plans and improvement projects.
• Analyze daily and seasonal workload demands to ensure efficient volume handling and resource planning.
• Support high goods availability through timely and precise execution of assigned tasks.
• Work in a lean, simple, and cost-conscious manner, sharing good practices to optimize daily operations.
• Follow all IKEA health, safety, and security rules, actively helping to prevent incidents.
• Collaborate with colleagues and take responsibility for additional tasks or projects as assigned.
