Job summary

Sysco is seeking a night warehouse clerk to support data entry and day-to-day operations. Under general supervision, you will enter orders, verify labels, and assist in shipment preparation.

The role requires basic Excel and strong communication skills, high school education, and 1–2 years of keyboarding experience. You will report to the night warehouse manager and help ensure GMP and SQF compliance.

Responsibilities

• Generate, clear flags and export orders in BFC Dakota in the truck builder for night shift selectors.
• Communicate with the routing department for special instructions on a nightly basis.
• Collate all labels, check-offs and load sheets for night shift operation.
• On a daily basis, complete all duties shown on the daily list.
• Track and record shipping statistics for the night shift on a nightly basis.
• Review catchweight data input for accuracy.
• Develop invoices for all routes.
• Collect and distribute all needed documentation for the transportation department.
• Adhere to all applicable GMP, personal hygiene, and SQF policies as described in Sysco's food safety manual.

JOB SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adhere to all applicable good manufacturing practices (GMP), personal hygiene, and safe quality food (SQF) policies and procedures as described in the European imports – Sysco food safety training manual.
• Assist in product recalls as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High school education or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is required.

Experience

• 1 – 2 years of previous keyboarding experience utilizing a keyboard to enter, retrieve and manipulate data is required.
• Previous data entry experience on a PC is preferred.

Professional Skills

• Basic Excel skills are required.
• Good communication skills are required.

Working Conditions

• General working conditions – exposed to adverse conditions 5% or less of the time.
• May occasionally be exposed to adverse environmental conditions (0 – 32 degrees).

Supervision Received

• General supervision is received from the night warehouse manager.
