Job summary

Rush Enterprises Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to support warehousing activities, inventory control, and recordkeeping. The role involves checking in shipments, stocking parts with barcode labels, and processing inter-branch transfers.

You will also pull customer orders, maintain will-call stock and paperwork, dispatch parts, and handle returns and freight claims. Forklift-certified candidates with basic computer skills are preferred; driving may be required."

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 months of related experience or training.
• Driver license with insurability may be required.
• Forklift certification obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to use a box/cardboard crusher.
• Proficient with computer systems and software used by the company.

Responsibilities

• Check in all daily incoming shipments from vendors.
• Stock put-away with proper bin labeling and barcodes.
• Process incoming inter-branch shipments and generate packing slips.
• Pull customer orders from picking lists for will-call, packing, or delivery.
• Maintain 'will call' stock and related paperwork.
• Maintain junk core inventory and dispatch parts as needed.
• Deliver parts to customers if drivers are unavailable.
• File freight claims for shortages or damaged parts.
