Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Clerk II for the 2nd shift in Manassas, VA. You will load/unload materials and assist in Lean warehousing on the floor, following established procedures to keep operations running smoothly.

This role requires 2 years of warehouse experience, ability to operate material handling equipment and use a handheld scanner, and a high school diploma or equivalent. A flexible schedule with potential overtime is expected.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating material handling equipment and using a handheld scanner.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material using hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, etc.
• Ensure packaging, routing and systems work is completed quickly and accurately
• Participate in and guide team in the Lean warehousing system on the floor
• Complete tasks by following established procedures
• Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner
• Participate in stand-up activities with cross-functional teams
