Job summary

Maker’s Pride, LLC is hiring a Warehouse Clerk for the 2nd shift in Kentucky. You will perform shipping duties, check in drivers, operate forklifts, and maintain an organized warehouse while coordinating with the plant GM and Supervisors on load-outs and shipments.

You should have a high school diploma or GED, basic math and data-entry skills, and familiarity with PICK systems and Windows software. A strong team player attitude and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read, write, and present information clearly.
• Basic math and algebra/geometry concepts.
• Ability to follow instructions and solve concrete problems.
• Proficiency with PICK system and Windows-based tools (Word/Excel, GroupWise).

Responsibilities

• Check in drivers and schedule trucks for loading/unloading.
• Operate forklifts and handle shipping documents daily.
• Maintain organized warehouse and accurate records for orders.
• Coordinate containers and export/shipping documents as needed.
• Keep open communication with Customer Service and Supervisors.

2nd Shift: 3:30PM - 2:30AM - Monday through Thursday - Friday/Saturday for overtime

Job Summary:

• Makers Pride is looking for a dynamic Warehouse Clerk who will have a positive impact on the operations team.
• As a Warehouse Clerk you will perform shipping duties for the plant, including scheduling, tagging products and maintaining an organized warehouse.

What you’ll be doing:

• Checking in drivers
• Operating forklifts
• Checking Purchase Orders
• Scheduling trucks for loading/unloading
• Preparing shipping documents and entering data on a daily basis
• Maintain records of all products and orders
• Verify Seals on trucks
• Maintain customer shipment files
• Maintain Open communications with Corporate Customer Service to maximize shipments and minimize problems
• Work with Plant General Manager and Supervisors to establish load out and shipment schedules and keep them informed on orders (distribute copies, etc.)
• Coordinate containers, export documents and shipping documents for export shipments
• Maintain good relationship with the trucking companies
• Perform other duties assigned

What you’ll need:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Language Skills
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Mathematical Skills
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
• Reasoning Ability
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Computer Skills
• Ability to use PICK system and basic windows operation of Word and Excel and GroupWise email system.

Starting Pay: Logistic Clerk I $18.05/hr. a shift differential is offered for 2nd Shift opportunities. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive based on company and individual performance. We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees including health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the 90th day of employment.
