Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Warehouse Clerk to perform general warehouse duties at our New Jersey facility. Pay rate is $19.00 per hour and on-the-job training is provided. Veterans and candidates with military experience are encouraged to apply.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety and organized workflow in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is an on-site position with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required.
• One year of similar work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform shipping and receiving duties
• Document incoming and outgoing items
• Keep a tidy and organized work area
• Maintain stock of shop supplies
• Load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas
• Verify documented counts against physical counts of stock
• Receive and fill orders or prepare supplies for sale
• Install protective devices to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported
• Drive truck or forklift to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials
• Pickup and deliver customer equipment, shop supplies, parts, etc.
• Perform facility janitorial and maintenance duties (change light bulbs, remove trash, communicate work orders, etc.)
