Job summary

Depot Connect International (DCI) is seeking a Warehouse Clerk with forklift and shipping & receiving experience to join our distribution team in Connecticut. You will lift and move items, operate a gas or electric forklift, process transactions at a computer terminal, and prepare shipping and documentation for exports and deliveries.

You must be detail oriented, organized, punctual, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Some shipping, receiving, or warehousing experience required.
• Detail oriented, organized and punctual.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Professional image and strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong listening, reading and verbal skills.
• Self-motivated team player.

Responsibilities

• Lifts and moves heavy items as required.
• Operates gas and electric forklift.
• Uses computer terminal to process transactions and communications.
• Prepares shipping, export, and other documentation.
• Maintains stock and monitors warehouse inventory.
• Packages pallets for outgoing shipments.
• Receives and inspects incoming parts and schedules shipments.
• Loads and unloads delivery trucks.
• Maintains warehouse cleanliness and stock locations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
