Job summary

Best Cheer Stone in San Diego is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to support loading, stocking, and shipping stone slabs and related products. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure accurate processing and timely deliveries.

You will help customers in the showroom, operate forklifts, verify order accuracy, and maintain a clean, safe, organized workspace in a fast-paced environment that values reliability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in the Stone & Cabinet industry.
• Lifting up to 75 pounds repeatedly and operating manual/power equipment safely.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to work Monday–Friday for 40 hours or more per week.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload stone slabs and prefab materials safely and efficiently.
• Assist sales and customers in viewing and selecting materials in the warehouse.
• Operate forklifts and other machinery required for moving large orders.
• Inspect orders for damage, defects, and missing items.
• Pull, pack, and ship orders to customers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse.
• Follow safety guidelines to ensure a secure workplace.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support operations.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our team. This position involves a variety of responsibilities related to the handling, inspection, and shipping of stone slabs and other products. Adequate training will be provided to ensure your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently handle the loading and unloading of stone slabs and prefab materials.
• Customer Assistance: Assist sales representatives and customers in viewing and selecting materials within the warehouse.
• Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts and other machinery required for the transportation of large orders and heavy products.
• Order Inspection: Thoroughly inspect incoming and outgoing orders, checking for damage, defective parts, and missing items.
• Order Fulfillment: Pull, pack, and ship orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and efficiency within the warehouse to create a safe and organized working environment.
• Safety Compliance: Follow safety guidelines to ensure a secure workplace for all team members.
• Other Duties: Undertake additional responsibilities as deemed necessary for the smooth functioning of warehouse operations.

Requirements

• Physical Abilities: Must be able to lift, pull, and push up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
• Sensory Skills: Good hearing, vision, and language skills required to operate machinery.
• Availability: Open to working Monday – Friday for 40 hours or more per week.
• Screening: Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Technical Skills: Computer literate.
• Communication: Bilingual proficiency, especially in Spanish, is a plus.
• Experience: 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferably in the Stone & Cabinet industry.
• Certification: Sit-down forklift certification preferred.
