Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Tarboro, NC is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk Associate. Earn $22.00 per hour with weekly pay, plus a $0.50/hour shift differential for 2nd shift and a Monday–Friday 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm schedule with possible weekend overtime.

Join Ryder’s warehouse team to support a safe, organized operation. You will check in drivers, assign dock doors, verify shipping/receiving documents, and coordinate inbound/outbound loads.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two years or more experience with SAP and WMS.
• Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Check truck drivers in and out.
• Assign dock doors for inbound/outbound activity.
• Verify accuracy of shipping/receiving documentation.
• Assist in appointment scheduling as needed.
• Update required reports on a timely basis.
• Communicate with customers and assist with their needs.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound loads.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $22.00 per hour

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years or more experience in SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to:

• Perform other duties as assigned
