Job summary

STC Material Solutions (STC), a Vermont-based manufacturer and part of IDEX, seeks a Warehouse Clerk to move materials between three STC buildings and support cycle counts, ERP transactions, and production flow.

You will operate a box truck, forklifts, and hand equipment, maintain safe inventory, communicate delays, and assist receiving and staging tasks to sustain uninterrupted operations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a box truck.
• Forklift operation ability (training provided).
• High school diploma or comparable work experience.
• Capable of independent work and following written/verbal instructions.
• Detail-oriented with emphasis on accuracy and data entry.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work under pressure.

• Promote a culture of safety and quality and participate in training initiatives.
• Safely operate a box truck to move materials, WIP, packaging, and finished goods between all STC locations.
• Follow scheduled transfer routes and respond to same-day or urgent transport needs directed by supervisors.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand as required.
• Complete and verify transfer documentation, including ERP/Visual transactions, accurately.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct pre-trip/post-trip inspections; report maintenance needs.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Clerk transports materials, work‑in‑process (WIP), and finished goods between STC’s three buildings safely and efficiently, supporting warehouse operations through cycle counting, accurate ERP transactions, material handling, and production support tasks. The role ensures accurate inventory, timely material flow, and strong communication across departments.

Essential Functions

• Promote a culture of safety and quality and participate in training initiatives.
• Safely operate a company box truck to move materials, WIP, packaging, and finished goods between all STC locations.
• Follow scheduled transfer routes and respond to same‑day or urgent transport needs directed by supervisors.
• Load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand as required.
• Complete and verify all transfer documentation, including ERP/Visual transactions, accurately.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, and report maintenance needs immediately.
• Perform routine cycle counts to support accurate inventory management.
• Investigate count discrepancies and communicate findings to supervisor or inventory control personnel.
• Identify root causes of stock variances and improve material‑flow accuracy.
• Assist in maintaining warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safe traffic flow.
• Participate in receiving tasks, including inbound shipments and staging materials.
• Coordinate transport and warehouse activities with production workers, supervisors, and maintenance personnel.
• Communicate delays, shortages, or issues promptly to ensure uninterrupted workflow.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a box truck.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely (training provided).
• High school diploma or comparable work experience.
• Capacity to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Detail‑oriented, with a focus on accuracy and data entry.
• Ability to work under pressure and lift up to 50 lbs.

Total Rewards

Compensation range: $37,500 – $56,300 annually, depending on experience, with eligibility for a performance‑based bonus plan. Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) or safety gear required.
