Job summary

Rush Enterprises Inc. in Orlando, FL is hiring a Warehouse Clerk to support inventory accuracy, daily transactions, and customer service. You will verify incoming shipments, process stock within 24 hours, and maintain organized bin locations with proper barcodes.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 25 pounds, and a valid driver license. Forklift training must be completed within 90 days, with a mandatory 18+ age requirement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds or more as needed.
• Three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent.
• Valid driver license with insurability per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify all shipments by counting; log and handle shortages or damage.
• Process and store stock within 24 hours; ensure correct bin locations and barcodes.
• Assign locations and update system for new parts; label and organize.
• Process inter-branch shipments; generate picking lists and stage parts for delivery.
• Pull customer orders for will call, shipment, or delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and follow safety policies.
• Manage will-call bins and keep paperwork organized.
• Handle junk cores by tagging, storing, and returning to vendors weekly.
• Dispatch drivers and provide driving directions as needed.
• Process customer returns and ensure items are resale-ready.
• File freight claims within 24 hours for shortages or damaged parts.
• Serve as backup Parts Driver when required.
• Pull, package, and ship vendor returns.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED).
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds or more as required by position
• Three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.

• Must complete company‑provided forklift training and obtain certification within 90 days. All forklift operators must be at least 18 years old, as required by law.
