Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Clerk in Orlando, Florida. Join a fast-paced distribution team supporting the US market with state-of-the-art equipment.

The role offers weekly pay and on-the-job training, with comprehensive benefits beginning after 30 days. You will handle general clerical duties, operate forklifts and use Microsoft Office tools, coordinating with floor crews and customers. A high school diploma and warehousing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in clerical or warehouse roles preferred.
• Experience operating forklift equipment preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer and/or other suppliers as needed.
• Using the location's WMS system updates area or shift metrics as needed.
• Generates daily, weekly or monthly reports, memos, and summaries often of a technical and/or confidential nature.
• Floor work and additional duties as assigned.
• Performs basic administrative tasks for area or shift. Maintains filing systems and documents.
• Gathers from and provides information to floor employees in his/her area of support.
• Coordinates activities/meetings/communication for the specific area or shift.
• Performs other duties as assigned depending on area supported or if location specific.

Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring Warehouse Clerk in Orlando, Florida.

Warehouse positions pay weekly:

• Hourly Pay: $21.50 per hour

Various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder support distribution across the US.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more clerical or warehouse experience preferred
• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates customer service skills.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
