Job summary

Rush Enterprises Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Clerk in Doraville, GA to support daily warehouse operations and maintain accurate inventory records.

You will receive shipments, verify counts, store stock promptly, label parts, and prepare orders for will call, shipment, or delivery while keeping the warehouse clean and safe. The role emphasizes reliability, basic forklift training, a valid driver license, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Able to lift 25 pounds or more.
• At least 3 months of related experience or training (or equivalent).
• Must have a current and valid driver license.
• Must complete forklift training and certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify all incoming shipments against packing slips.
• Process and store incoming stock within 24 hours.
• Assign locations and update the system for new parts.
• Check in and process inter-branch shipments; stage parts for delivery.
• Pull customer orders and prepare for will call, shipment, or delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and follow safety policies.
• Manage will-call bins and paperwork.
• Process junk cores by tagging, storing, and returning them to vendors weekly.
• Dispatch drivers and provide driving directions as needed.
• Process customer returns and ensure resale condition.
• File freight claims within 24 hours.
• Serve as backup Parts Driver.
• Pull, package, and ship vendor returns.

• Assign locations and update the system for all new parts; label and organize accordingly.

• Pull customer orders and prepare them for will call, shipment, or delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and follow all safety policies.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED).
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds or more as required by position
• Three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current and valid driver license with a driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company’s insurance carrier.

• Must complete company‑provided forklift training and obtain certification within 90 days. All forklift operators must be at least 18 years old, as required by law.
