Job summary

Carmi Wholesale Distributors is seeking a dependable Janitorial Associate to maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment. The role supports daily operations by keeping offices, restrooms, and common spaces to company cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, break rooms, offices, and floors, emptying trash, restocking supplies, and reporting safety hazards promptly. The ideal candidate works independently with strong attention to detail and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or warehouse cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, and scrub warehouse floors and walkways.
• Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the facility.
• Maintain cleanliness of entrances, exits, and employee gathering areas.
• Clean windows, doors, and other facility surfaces as needed.
• Restock restroom and break room supplies.
• Assist with spill cleanup and sanitation projects.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to management.
• Follow all company safety procedures and sanitation requirements.
• Perform additional housekeeping and facility-support tasks as assigned.
