Job summary

PeopleReady in Chicago, IL is hiring Cherry Pickers to operate a cherry picker and stock orders in the warehouse. You will receive, scan, count, and verify merchandise from vendors, and maintain accurate inventory by location and quantity.

Responsibilities include order fulfillment, inventory corrections, resolving discrepancies, and supporting warehouse operations on a fast-paced team. Shifts include 1st (Day) and 2nd (Evening), with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50-60 lbs regularly.
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Experience with picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a cherry picker to pull and stock orders in the warehouse
• Receive, scan, count, and verify incoming merchandise from vendors and stores
• Stock inventory accurately by location and quantity while maintaining inventory records
• Assist with order fulfillment, inventory corrections, and resolving order discrepancies
• Support warehouse operations by completing additional duties and special projects as assigned
• Responsible for picking, packing, and palletizing products
• Operating RF scanners, and maintaining an accurate and efficient workflow throughout warehouse operations
