Job summary

JGM is seeking a Warehouse BIM Field Engineer for an airport baggage handling system project. You will maintain digital records of equipment movement, update the Revit model from receipt through testing, and bridge warehouse operations with field installation.

You will coordinate with warehouses, installation crews, and project engineers; receive, barcode, and track equipment; document testing, commissioning, and as-built records; and ensure data accuracy throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, BIM Technology, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in BIM coordination, field engineering, warehouse operations, or construction technology.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit.
• Experience using barcode or asset tracking systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in both warehouse and active construction environments.
• Experience with conveyor systems, material handling equipment, or airport projects is preferred.

Position Summary

The Warehouse/BIM Field Engineer serves as a critical link between warehouse operations, field installation, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) throughout the baggage handling system installation. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate digital records of equipment movement and installation by updating the Revit model from initial receipt through final testing and commissioning.

Essential Responsibilities

• Receive baggage handling equipment delivered to the warehouse.

General Working Conditions

• Work is performed in active airport construction environments and operational facilities.
• May require working nights, weekends, holidays, or extended hours to support airport operational requirements.
• Must comply with all airport security requirements and successfully obtain and maintain required security clearances and badging.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and around active construction operations.
• Travel within the project site is required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk extensive construction sites daily.
• Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and access elevated work areas.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in active construction environments for extended periods.
