Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers in Aberdeen, MD is hiring a Warehouse Unloader to keep products moving from dock to shelves. This full-time role starts at 7:00 PM and runs Monday through Friday, with a fast-paced environment and a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will receive and break down pallets, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, inspect equipment, and help ensure on-time delivery to customers. Benefits start day one, including health, dental, vision, a 401(k), paid time off, and tuition

Responsibilities

• Receiving product, recording dates, and breaking down pallets per receiving procedures.
• Operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks and/or clamp machines.
• Move pallets from dock to correct aisles and maintain inventory flow.
• Maintain speed to prevent backlog of trucks and product.
• Inspect equipment and complete required forms.
• Safely lift varying weights as needed.

Position Overview

As a Warehouse Unloader, you’ll be part of a productive team, tasked with keeping the warehouse stocked with product for our customers. This is a fast-paced role, perfect for energetic individuals who are highly organized and like to stay active.

• Earning $25 per hour (entered by recruiter)
• FT: Monday thru Friday with a 7:00 PM start until finished
• Aberdeen, MD 21001

Job Description

• Receiving product, recording code dates & breaking down pallets of product according to appropriate receiving procedures
• Utilizing forklifts, electric pallet jacks and/or clamp machines to move merchandise
• Maneuvering pallets of product from the dock to correct aisles
• Moving at a fast pace to prevent backlog of trucks and/or product
• Performing equipment inspections & completing appropriate forms
• Occasional safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
