Job summary

POOLCORP in Denton, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to accurately receive/pull orders, pack for delivery, and assist in loading trucks. Backups as needed will make deliveries, maintain safety checks, and ensure inventory accuracy.

The role requires 21+, valid CDL/ Hazmat endorsement if applicable, a clean MVR/PSP, and prior forklift experience. Join a team that values safety, efficiency, and reliable service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL with Hazmat endorsement if applicable.
• MVR and PSP showing no more than 2 violations/at fault accidents in past 3 years.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects up to 100 pounds.
• Prior forklift experience.
• Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience in distribution, general labor or warehousing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pulls, fills, packs and sets up orders for delivery or pickup.
• Assist in loading the delivery truck.
• Receives shipments, logs into inventory, and conducts audits.
• Communicate with supervisors, sales staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries/pickups.
• Operates forklift safely and maintains certification; perform safety checks.
• Keep the facility clean, neat, safe and efficient.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Make deliveries using efficient routes; load/unload, secure products and separate hazmat.

Pay: $19.75 - $20.75/ hour and up to $2,500 through our performance bonuses

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM TO 4:30PM and a rotating Saturday morning shift

What to Expect? The Warehouse Associate supports the team and our customers by accurately and safely receiving/pulling orders in a fast-paced environment. Our Backup Drivers will fill in as needed making safe, complete, accurate and on-time deliveries to customers while complying with Department of Transportation (DOT) and other applicable regulations.

On a Daily Basis Our Warehouse Associate

• Accurately pulls, fills, packs and sets up orders for delivery or pickup.
• Assists in loading the delivery truck.
• Receives shipments, logs into inventory, maintains inventory through audits.
• Communicates positively with supervisors, sales staff, fellow workers and customers to coordinate deliveries/pick-up.
• Operates a forklift safely and efficiently, maintains required certification, performs vehicle safety checks and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
• Assists in keeping facility clean, neat, safe and operating efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.

On An As Needed Basis Our Backup Drivers

• Make deliveries using the most effective route to ensure orders are delivered on time.
• Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring that all products are properly secured, and hazardous material is separated appropriately.
• Collect payments and accurately document delivery.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR)).
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and inform supervisor of any maintenance needed.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and presentable on a daily basis.
• Increase job and product knowledge on an ongoing basis.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need

• To be at least 21 years old.
• A valid driver's license (Commercial Driver’s License, CDL, if applicable), preferably with HAZMAT endorsement.
• A Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and Pre-Employment Screening Program (PSP)indicating no more than 2 combined violations or at fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Prior forklift experience.
• Follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience in distribution, general labor or warehousing preferred.
