Maersk Logistics & Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Design Engineer to execute data analysis and develop warehouse and distribution concepts for new and existing clients.

You will create layouts, models, estimates, and proposal content, progressing from data analysis to presentation materials to support customer proposals. The role focuses on concept development, AutoCAD layouts, and collaboration with engineering teams to deliver cost-effective, implementable solutions for customers in

Responsibilities

• Analyze order data, inventory data, and SKU profiles to support facility layout and solution development.
• Provide productivity, capacity, and space estimates in support of RFPs.
• Own front-end solution concepting, including layout development, automation ideation, and high-level system modeling.
• Create presentations to support engineering recommendations and present solutions to senior management and customers.
• Conduct feasibility studies to determine ROI on proposed solutions.
• Participate in customer presentations and proposal reviews.
• Consult with operations personnel to validate proposed solutions are practical and cost-effective.
• Support RFP responses and proposal development, including scope definition, assumptions, narratives, and technical content.
• Design and develop conveyor and sortation systems in AutoCAD, including belt-on-slider-bed conveyors, belt-on-roller conveyors, break-belt conveyors, metering belts, shoe sorters, push sorters, cross-belt sorters, merges, diverts, transfers, accumulation zones.
