Job summary

Austin Industrial seeks a Warehouse Associate to pull orders, move and stage materials, and prepare shipments at our Texas site. You will help maintain inventory accuracy and support production flow on a busy industrial floor.

Eligible candidates have 6+ months of industrial experience; no formal education required. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and have a valid Driver's License. We offer equal opportunity employment and a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials in stock.
• Able to lift and maneuver packages of a minimum of 50 lbs with assistance.
• Locates materials by pulling and verifying items on production orders.
• Delivers and opens materials to maintain in-process inventory at work centers.
• Documents materials disposition by recording units delivered and locations.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by packing, loading, and securing product.
• Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.

Warehouse

Must be able to maintain production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product for shipping; moving and organizing inventory as needed; operating machinery to move items. Other duties may be assigned.

Specific Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Able to lift and maneuver packages of a minimum of 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
• Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
• Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
• Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required For This Position

Education – no minimum education requirements.

Experience – 6+ months experience in an Industrial setting preferred.
