Oak View Group is seeking a part-time Warehouse Attendant to support venue distribution and warehouse operations. The role involves inventory, receiving, purchasing, ordering, lay-ins, PO tracking, clean-up, transfers, and equipment maintenance with a schedule that includes evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of foodservice/hospitality experience preferred.
• Food service certification may be required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with product purchasing/ordering, receiving, and distribution control.
• Maintain sanitation and organization of warehouse storage areas.
• Fulfill requisitioning, stocking, inventory, warehouse returns, equipment storage, sanitation, and maintenance.
• Ensure stocking levels are met daily and rotate stock to maintain product integrity.
• Ensure proper transfer of products between locations with follow-up documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance of restaurant and catering equipment and cleaning.
• Ensure equipment is located in designated areas.
• Conduct end-of-day walk-through of commissary and warehouse to ensure cleanliness.
• Maintain knowledge of all restaurant locations and their equipment and procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff and guests to foster a positive work environment.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for assisting in venue distribution/warehouse operations, including inventory, receiving, purchasing, ordering, lay-ins, purchase order tracking, clean-up, transfers, and equipment maintenance. This is a key position for the effective and profitable operation of the business. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work a variable schedule, which includes evenings and weekends. Open availability, professional presentation, outstanding interpersonal skills, self-direction, and independent decision‑making skills are required.

This role pays an hourly rate of $17.00 - $20.00.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting with product purchasing/ordering, receiving, and distribution control for the venue.
• Maintain sanitation and organizational systems of all warehouse storage areas.
• Fulfills all expectations, including but not limited to requisitioning, stocking, inventory, warehouse returns, equipment storage, sanitation, and maintenance.
• Ensure that appropriate stocking levels are met for each day; rotate and maintain the integrity of the product.
• Ensure proper transfer process of product between locations, including follow‑up documentation.
• Assists in performing routine maintenance; responsible for restaurant and catering utility equipment cleaning and maintenance: portable equipment, burden carriers, carts, floors, refrigeration, and lighting.
• Ensure manifested equipment is in location.
• Conduct a walk‑through of the commissary, warehouse, and storage areas after the completion of the day to ensure all areas are clean.
• Maintain thorough working knowledge of all existing restaurant locations: geographical location, equipment, evacuation procedures, adjacent employee and guest areas, and facility access.
• Communicate with employees, co‑workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, professional, and courteous manner that fosters a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of foodservice/hospitality experience; similar venue experience a plus.
• Food service certification.
• Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages) as they relate to product inventory.
• Ability to work well in a team‑oriented, fast‑paced, event‑driven environment.
• Possess a valid Food Handler's certificate and Alcohol Service Permit if required by provincial or local government.
• Possess thorough working knowledge of all applicable sanitation requirements, food preparation guidelines, alcohol service policies, safety standards, etc. pertaining to Oak View Group and venue concession operations.
• Ability to make sound business/operations decisions (i.e., responding to technical, product, or equipment challenges during an event) quickly and under pressure.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods/distances.
• Must be able to reach with hands and arms, sit, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• Ability to lift heavy objects frequently is required.
