Job summary

Canteen, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time Warehouse Attendant at 2200 Lanier Lane, Rockville, VA 23146. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with occasional weekends or shift changes; online applications are accepted.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing and distributing materials, and maintaining inventory. Prior FIFO/product rotation experience and forklift certification are preferred; HACCP and safety protocols apply. Internal referral bonus available.

Qualifications

• Previous first-in, first-out, product rotation experience preferred.
• Forklift certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reads schedules, orders or requisitions to determine items to move or distribute.
• Conveys materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Places materials on racks, shelves or bins according to size, type or product code.
• Fills requisitions and distributes items to production workers or the packing/shipping area.
• Assembles customer orders and places on pallets or shelves for packing/shipping.
• Drives vehicle to transport stored items and pick up items.
