Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Franklin, IN is hiring Warehouse Associates to join a clean, well-run facility. You will help assemble, package, and ship orders in a fast-paced distribution environment, with weekly pay and benefits.

The role requires forklift knowledge, data entry into WMS, ability to lift 50 pounds, and reliability on a Monday–Friday schedule. Training and safety gear are provided; growth opportunities exist within a team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read, do basic mathematics in English for safety and instructions.
• Learn to operate powered industrial truck(s) and related maintenance is intermediate required.
• May be required to operate additional warehouse equipment (packaging line) intermediate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure scanning is completed correctly.
• Train dock employees on new procedures and ensure facility is secure at end of shift.
• Perform picking and packing duties and check for damaged product or container.
• Execute material moves and transactions as required.
• Participate in team activities to improve warehouse operations.
• Perform routine housekeeping in assigned area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
