Job summary

Ryder in Etna, Ohio is seeking a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Associate to support our facility with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Learn to operate powered industrial trucks (stand-up/sit-down forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks) including maintenance and safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers and ensure accurate scanning.
• Assist training of dock staff on new procedures and maintain facility security.
• Perform picking and packing duties and check for product damage.
• Conduct housekeeping and support warehouse operations as needed.

Skills

High school diploma

Warehouse experience 6 months

Warehouse experience 1 year+

Powered industrial truck operation

PIT certification
