Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Hagerstown, MD is hiring Warehouse Associates with weekly pay and excellent benefits. The role includes operating forklifts and RF scanners, packing, loading/unloading trailers, and data entry in the WMS system.

The position supports a safe, organized distribution environment and offers room for career growth within Ryder’s US network. Mandatory duties include order fulfillment, adherence to location policies, and teamwork to improve warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
• Ability to read and perform basic English math.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Able to input data into the WMS system.
• Flexible to work overtime.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work independently.
• Detail oriented with good follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload trailers; ensure scanning is correct; train dock staff on new procedures.
• Secure the facility at end of shift; address scanning issues and housekeeping.
• Perform picking and packing duties; check for product damage.
• Perform material moves and related transactions per policies.
• Support team through workgroup activities and continuous improvement.
• Maintain housekeeping for assigned area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
