Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Port Deposit, MD is hiring a permanent full-time Warehouse Associate. The role provides on-the-job training, weekly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision and a 401(k).

You will operate forklifts and other equipment while performing order picking, packing, and material movements in a fast-paced environment. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and accountability with opportunities for career growth within a leading supply

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Powered industrial truck certification.
• Ability to read, do basic mathematics in English for safety, work instructions, policies, etc.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to input data into the WMS computer system(s).
• Work overtime as assigned.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers. Ensure all scanning is completed correctly.
• Help train dock employees on new procedures. Ensure facility is secure at end of shift; investigate/resolve scanning issues and housekeeping.
• Perform picking and packing duties. Check for evidence of product or container damage.
• Perform material moves with associated physical/logical transactions as required.
• Participate in workgroup and other team activities for self-improvement and improving warehouse operations.
