Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate at our Waterworks location in Upper Marlboro, MD. The role involves outdoor pipe yard work, operating forklifts, and processing customer orders in a fast-paced environment.

You will receive, verify, stage, and stock materials, and ensure safety protocols and PPE compliance while handling large piping in all weathers. Overtime may be required.

This role will involve working in a warehouse as well as outside in the pipe yard. Most of the product you will be working with is outside and requires working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions and temperatures.**Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and some overtime as needed****Responsibilities*** Safely operate both a stand-up forklift (order selector/cherry picker) and sit-down forklift to pull and prepare outbound customer orders.* Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and large piping* Work outdoors year-round in a pipeyard, performing duties in all weather conditions.* Accurately and timely receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material.* Effectively receive and store inventory.* Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.**Qualifications*** A background in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred.* Comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment.* General computer skills for basic data entry.* Forklift Operator experience is strongly preferred.* Ability to carry objects that are up to 50 lbs. by hand and 50 lbs. or more using equipment.\*Pre-employment drug and background screening required\*At Ferguson, we care for each other.
