Job summary

Imperial Brady in Traverse City is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join a dynamic distribution team.

This 1st shift role runs Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, and includes selecting and locating merchandise, using RF scanners, building pallets, unloading trucks, and keeping the warehouse clean.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of warehouse experience, including pallet jack operation and the ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Experience with high-volume order picking.
• 1 year experience with ride-on electric pallet jack.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

Warehouse Associates select and locate the merchandise, ensure warehouse cleanliness, loading and unloading, inbound/outbound. Fulfills customer orders by using pick tickets or an RF Scanner, efficiently building the pallet, and ensuring skids are brought to the correct locations/trucks. Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.

This is a 1st shift position, and the schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm.

You will:

• Review incoming material orders/'pick tickets.'
• Locate materials on shelves in the warehouse
• Place materials on the order picker, forklift, or pallet jack
• Deliver items to the loading area to be wrapped and put on a delivery truck
• Unload trucks
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized
• Work in a collaborative, team environment

You have:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 1-year minimum of warehouse experience
• 1 year of high-volume order selecting
• 1 year of experience with a ride-on electric pallet jack
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted
• A collaborative, team-focused approach

Pay Range: $20-$22 an hour
