Job summary

Metro Welding Supply Corp. is seeking a Warehouse Associate / Truck Loader for the afternoon shift from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday with no weekends. The role includes loading delivery trucks, preparing customer orders, filling gas cylinders, and maintaining safety in a busy warehouse environment.

On-the-job training is provided, with paid training and opportunities for advancement in a family-owned company that has grown since 1937.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
• Steel-toe boots required.
• Strong attendance and dependable work ethic.
• Prior warehouse, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, forklift, or industrial experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload delivery trucks.
• Prepare customer orders for delivery.
• Fill compressed gas cylinders (paid training provided).
• Operate forklifts.
• Assist with general warehouse operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Metro Welding Supply Corp., a family-owned and operated business since 1937, has grown to become one of the largest independent gas distributors and welding supply providers in Southeast Michigan. We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Associate / Truck Loader to join our afternoon shift team.

If you're looking for steady, full-time work with a consistent weekday schedule, paid training, and an opportunity to learn new skills, this may be a great fit.

You'll work alongside an experienced team loading delivery trucks, preparing customer orders, filling compressed gas cylinders (paid training provided), and helping keep our warehouse operating safely and efficiently. Prior gas industry experience is not required.

Pay & Schedule

• $18.00–$19.00 per hour, including afternoon shift differential, based on experience and qualifications
• 2:00 PM–10:00 PM
• Full-time, 8-hour shift
• Monday–Friday
• No weekends
