Job summary

American Tire Distributors is seeking a Warehouse I to support order fulfillment and inventory control in a fast-paced distribution center.

The role involves physical work, including lifting up to 150 pounds, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and performing data entry using handheld devices. You will assist with reporting damaged stock, returns, and stock transfers, and help maintain a safe, organized warehouse environment.

Qualifications

High School or GED required or equivalent.
0–1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate equipment to assist in loading and unloading; data entry of product numbers using handheld devices.
Assist in administrative tasks such as paperwork handling and warehouse closing procedures.
Compile and submit reports on damaged/outdated stock, over/under shipments, and vendor returns; report inventory shortages.
Data entry of product numbers and product placement for inventory accuracy.
Load/unload delivery trucks; handle tires and heavier items with team lifting.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers safely and maintain licenses.
Organize stock by product line and space, ensuring room for overflow.
Perform routine facility maintenance and housekeeping in docks, aisles and bathrooms.
Prioritize and pick materials for orders and stage them for loading.
Verify incoming/outgoing products for quantity/size/type and communicate discrepancies.
