Job summary

Maynor Services is seeking a Warehouse Associate to organize and pull orders for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical crews. Under supervision, you will maintain shelves, assist with unloading, and participate in monthly inventory.

You must be able to lift up to 150 lbs with assistance, operate hand trucks and pallet jacks after training, and follow safety procedures. This temporary full-time role is based in Raleigh, NC.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse or material-handling experience preferred.
• Ability to read pick tickets and count accurately.
• Willingness to learn our products, part numbers, and warehouse procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pull, stage, and label orders accurately and on time for our HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical crews
• Organize, label, and maintain shelving, bins, and stock locations so materials are easy to find
• Restock shelves and rotate stock; return unused materials to their proper locations
• Assist with unloading/receiving inventory; check shipments against packing slips and report shortages or damage
• Participate in the monthly inventory count and help keep inventory records accurate
• Notify the Warehouse Supervisor of low stock levels and items that need to be reordered
• Keep the Warehouse clean, safe, and organized, including aisles, loading areas, and work surfaces
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job description

This is a temporary position. The expected length of the assignment depends on business needs and will be discussed during the interview process.

Under supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor, organize and maintain the Warehouse and pull orders (equipment/materials) for our HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical crews; participation in monthly inventory count; assist with unloading/receiving of inventory.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to use safe lifting procedures (for lifting up to 50-150 lbs with help/proper lifting procedures)


• Ability to use full range of body motion: climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, lifting, bending and twisting


• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a warehouse environment


• Ability to safely use hand trucks, pallet jacks, ladders, and other warehouse equipment after training


• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

*Qualifications:

• Prior warehouse, stockroom, or material-handling experience preferred; HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or construction supply experience a plus


• Ability to read pick tickets and labels, count accurately, and pay close attention to detail


• Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Willingness to learn our products, part numbers, and Warehouse procedures

Preferred, not required:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Driving is not an essential function of this position.
