Job summary

World Electric Supply, Inc. in Tampa, FL is hiring a Warehouse Associate for the 3rd shift. You will play a key role in moving products from the warehouse to customers, filling orders accurately, and ensuring timely delivery with a safe, team‑oriented environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, counting inventory, scanning barcodes, assembling and labeling materials, and maintaining organization and safety on the floor. Training provided for equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract).
• Willingness to learn to operate equipment (we provide training).
• Authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship.

What You’ll Do

As a warehouse associate, you’re key to driving a great customer experience by getting products from our warehouse to our customers. As orders come in, you help fill them accurately by finding the right products and getting them packaged and onto our trucks. You’ll work in a positive, fast-paced environment with a supportive team.

You will…

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/material in a safe manner using a forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device (no experience required - we provide training)
• Count, check and record items coming into or being shipped out of the warehouse
• Use a handheld device to scan barcodes and labels, allowing us to track appropriate inventory levels
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for safe delivery or storage
• Help us keep products free from damage and organized
• Follow and promote procedures that keep the warehouse safe and secure

What You Bring

• Be at least 18 years old
• Ability to lift packages that could sometimes weigh up to 50 pounds, with help if needed
• Ability to stand and walk for much of your shift.
• Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers)
• Willingness to learn how to operate equipment like forklift and handheld scanning device (we provide training)
• Ability to work in various temperatures
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future
• The first initial weeks will require training during the 2nd shift

Preferred, But Not Required

• Previous experience in a warehouse
• Basic English communication skills
