Job summary

The Salvation Army (TSA) Adult Rehabilitation Center seeks a Warehouse Associate to support the Stockton Distribution Center. Duties include sorting products, inspecting for defects, and transporting materials within the distribution center.

The role requires high school graduation and ability to lift up to 75 lbs, with overtime by approval. Qualified candidates will have verifiable training/experience and the ability to read, write, and follow instructions.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Demonstrated competency in skill area as indicated by verifiable training and/or experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Overtime requires supervisor approval and initials on the timecard.

Responsibilities

• Sort product efficiently and properly according to TSA policy.
• Provide Quality Assurance by inspecting products for defects and damages.
• Identify product correctly and direct to proper department for processing.
• Collect merchandise from the distribution center and safely transport materials.
• Follow safety measures established and maintained by TSA policy and government regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality as needed for the operation of the total program.
• Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager, the Administrator or their designee.

QUALIFICATIONS :

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.

• Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES :
