Job summary

East Bay Restaurant Supply, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate – Shipping & Receiving in California. You will handle receiving, inspecting, organizing, and shipping equipment and supplies for a busy warehouse.

The role supports daily warehouse operations, including order preparation, loading/unloading deliveries, maintaining inventory, and keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and efficient. Local deliveries may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug test and maintain a clean DMV report.
• Forklift and/or order picker experience required.
• Knowledgeable in safely securing equipment on the delivery trucks.
• Experience driving a 26' bobtail truck with lift gate.
• Capable of lifting equipment up stairs.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Delivery experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, ship, and process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts and order pickers safely (certification preferred).
• Palletize orders; load and unload trucks.
• Maintain attention to detail in all tasks to ensure accuracy.
• Utilize computers and warehouse systems for inventory and order tracking.
• Perform general housekeeping to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Comply with all safety standards and company policies.
• Assist in offloading stainless equipment (Various Shapes & Sizes).

About the role

The Warehouse Associate – Shipping & Receiving is responsible for receiving, inspecting, organizing, and shipping commercial foodservice equipment and supplies. This role supports daily warehouse operations including preparing customer orders, loading and unloading deliveries, maintaining accurate inventory, and keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and safe. The position may also assist with local deliveries and work closely with the warehouse team to ensure products are received, stored, and shipped efficiently.
