Job summary

Staples in Greencastle, IN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to operate material handling equipment and support six key areas: bulk/material handling, porter, replenishment, receiving/putaway/returns, returns, and shipping. The role requires lifting up to 100 lbs and maintaining safety protocols.

Shifts run 2:00pm-10:00pm Monday through Friday, with potential for additional hours depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience.
• Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent permissible legally.
• Basic English language skills (both verbal and written communications).
• If you are hired as a Full-Time associate, you must have the ability to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift; overtime may be required.
• Ability to work at heights up to 60 feet or more as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to pick and move product up to 100 lbs across the warehouse.
• Perform general cleaning and basic maintenance duties in the facility.
• Assist with receiving/putaway/returns, packing slips, and discrepancies in collaboration with colleagues.
• Organize, stack, shrink-wrap customer orders on pallets and load trucks manually.
• Move product within the warehouse safely and efficiently, adhering to safety procedures.
