Job summary

Openwork LLC is hiring an experienced Warehouse Associate for a steel distribution company in Houston, TX. The role involves operating forklifts, pulling orders, loading/unloading materials, and supporting daily warehouse operations.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of manufacturing warehouse or material-handling experience, forklift operation, and English/Spanish bilingual skills. Overhead crane experience is a plus. Training will cover safety protocols and process flows.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing warehouse or material-handling experience.
• Hands-on forklift operating experience.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills highly preferred.
• Overhead crane experience preferred but not required.
• Steel distribution or steel manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must meet pre-employment background and drug screening requirements.

NOW HIRING: WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE - 2ND SHIFT

MANUFACTURING WAREHOUSE, FORKLIFT OPERATIONS & STEEL DISTRIBUTION

Openwork is hiring an experienced Warehouse Associate for an established steel distribution company in Houston, TX 77041.

This hands-on position involves operating forklifts, pulling customer orders, loading and unloading materials, and supporting daily warehouse operations.

Qualified candidates must have at least 2 years of manufacturing warehouse or material-handling experience and hands-on forklift operating experience. Overhead crane and steel industry experience are preferred but not required. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly preferred.

POSITION DETAILS

• Location: Houston, TX 77041
• Pay: $17.50/hr | Weekly Pay
• Schedule: Mon-Fri, 11:30 AM-8:00 PM
• Training: Mon-Fri, 9:00 AM-6:00 PM until completed
• Shift: 2nd Shift
• Employment: Full-Time
• Overtime: Required as needed, including short or last-minute notice

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to meet applicable pre-employment background and drug/alcohol screening requirements

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Industrial warehouse and steel distribution environment
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Forklift operation and handling heavy industrial materials
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Required PPE and workplace safety procedures
