Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Knowledge of automated or computerized system operation; able to operate a forklift and other materials handling equipment.
• Familiar with safety practices and record keeping; able to operate a forklift and other materials handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment and follow safety policies.
• Assist with housekeeping, organizing, packing, transporting corrugated, and forklift operations for production, shipping and receiving.
• Unitize finished cartons by lot number and ensure no mixed cases.
• Run carton make up area, load materials into carton erectors, and manage production line assignments.
• Operate stretch wrappers for finished goods and drive fork/clamp trucks as licensed.
• Use RF scanner to produce, transfer, inquire and scan to hold finished goods.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and communicate effectively in writing and speech.
