Job summary

Batesville in Memphis, TN is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for safe handling of shipments, inventory care, and a range of warehouse duties to keep our operations accurate and efficient.

Required: at least 1 year of warehouse experience, basic computer skills, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and a flexible schedule including weekends. Compensation is $18.31 per hour, with comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage, 401K matching and paid

Qualifications

• 1-year prior warehouse or related experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to drive a truck within facility confines and learn how to spot trailers.
• Dependable, honest, quick learner, good communication skills and team player.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including any days, shift, and weekends to ensure that the customer demand is met.
• Ability to lift and/or move miscellaneous equipment and product weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and over 100 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspection of each unit to ensure quality.
• Unload inbound and load outbound caskets quickly, accurately, safely, and damage free.
• Keep a clean and organized work area.
• Perform various warehouse duties as requested.
• Operate various power equipment efficiently and safely.
• Other duties may be assigned.
