Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Houston, TX to perform inbound/outbound distribution duties with minimal material handling equipment use. You will unload, receive, and process shipments, pick orders, and assist with loading for delivery while maintaining safety and accuracy.

You will operate RF scanners and Voice Pick technology, conduct physical inventories, and support general warehouse functions in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• Good attention to detail and accuracy with inventory.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Reliable and punctual with attendance.
• Willingness to learn new material handling equipment and WMS tools.
• Basic math and counting accuracy for receiving and packing.

Responsibilities

• Unloads pallets and cases from inbound trailers using a pallet jack.
• Counts, verifies, and receives product with RF or Voice Pick technology.
• Performs LUM picking and places items into totes for conveyor transfer.
• Prepares sortation areas and moves cartons to designated batches.
• Loads totes and pallets onto trucks using RF scanners and pallet jacks.
• Adheres to safety policies and maintains a clean, organized work area.
