Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Material Handler in Hammond, LA to sort RPCs and prepare pallets for shipment. You’ll handle light-weight containers, inspect for quality, wrap and stack pallets, and move materials within the facility.

The role requires reliable communication, the ability to work overtime, and a high school diploma or GED. Relogistics offers competitive pay and benefits for full-time staff.

Overview

As a Material Handler, also known as a Returnable Plastic Container (RPC) Sorter, you’ll get to hand sort a container weighing about 10 ounces that issued to ship produce, eggs, meat, and other goods onto pallets for manufacturers. This is a vital role for our sites to ensure we maintain a high level of efficiency and accuracy of performance!

Hourly Pay:

$17.00/hr

Shift(s):

Sunday - Wednesday: 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Hand stack RPC’s on pallets to appropriate height, following inventory control instructions
