Job summary

Abbott Interfast, a leading fastener manufacturer, is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Wheeling, IL facility. You will pick, pack, and ship orders, maintain inventory, and operate warehouse equipment in a safe, organized environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and good communication. Forklift certification is a plus; experience in warehousing is preferred. Hourly pay ranges from $20 to $24.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in varying temperatures.
• U.S. citizen.
• Hourly Pay: $20 to $24 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks using forklift or hand truck.
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock.
• Pick and pack parts following customer specifications and print labels.
• Move materials between storage areas manually and with forklift or hand truck.
• Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping and removing debris.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations, including proper use of PPE.
