Plumbers Supply Co. on Market Street in Downtown Louisville is hiring a Warehouse Associate to accurately pick and prepare orders using an RF scanner. You will read customer orders and retrieve items from racks, then update inventory in the ERP system.

Maintain a clean, safe workspace and operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts as needed. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least one year in warehouse work, strong communication skills, and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience preferred.
• Customer service focus with strong communication skills.
• Dependable attendance and reliability.
• Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Motivated to learn and grow within the role.
• Stamina to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Computer proficiency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally more with or without accommodation.
• Physical ability to perform warehouse tasks including bending, stooping, kneeling, etc.
• Non-climate controlled warehouse environment.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking products using an RF Scanner, ensuring order accuracy
• Reading customer orders and retrieving items from warehouse racks using barcodes and serial numbers
• Updating inventory in ERP system after each item is picked
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment for all stakeholders
• Operating heavy equipment including hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc
