Job summary

Blue Ridge Beverage Company, Inc. in Virginia seeks a full-time Warehouse Associate in Abingdon. You will pick orders, replenish locations, load trucks, and maintain a safe, efficient warehouse.

Two shifts available: Mon-Fri 9AM-5PM and Sun-Thu 2:30 PM to end of shift. Applicants must pass pre-employment drug screen.

Job DetailsJob Location: Abingdon - Abingdon, VA 24210Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 Hourly

PURPOSE

Blue Ridge Beverage Company, Inc., located in Central and Southwest VA, is a large beverage distribution company seeking a full-time WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE.

We currently have 2 shifts available:

• Mon - Fri 9AM - 5PM
• Sun - Thurs 2:30 PM - End of Shift

Job Type: Full-time, Nonexempt

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Previous experience with computerized warehousing preferred.
• Demonstrated experience using a forklift, or electric pallet jack experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The following list of physical requirements are required to perform the entire job: standing; walking; sitting; stooping; fine finger and hand manipulation; speaking clearly; hearing to be able to maintain conversation; seeing to be able to read and to drive a vehicle; and lifting, moving, and carrying 25-40 lbs. repetitively, and occasionally up to 170 lbs. when handling kegs. Must be able to bend, lift, carry, climb, stoop and stack product using a hand truck or electric pallet jack.
