Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support its distribution services in the United States. The role involves handling and processing materials in a climate-controlled warehouse, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring proper compliance with regulatory requirements.

Under direct supervision, you will perform order fulfillment, cycle counts, and product verification and tracking using RF equipment.

Qualifications

Job Details

• Shift Details : Sunday-Thursday, 5pm-10pm.
• Pay Details: Pay starting at $19.00 (Hourly) with potential for up to $24.20 (Hourly) based on a variety of earning opportunities including shift differentials, performance incentives, and referral bonuses.
• Location: This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Summary of Role

Under direct supervision, handles and maintains the flow of materials and products in warehouses with varying degrees of automation according to established standards. Performs in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations and procedures. This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires and is assigned specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Order fulfillment - stocking, restocking, picking and packing, and outbound shipping of customer orders.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Important Skills

• Able to work in climate-controlled facility.
• Ability to read and understand the English language
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting distribution standards.
• Motivated, hard-working and dependable; attendance and punctuality are very important.
• Able to work the shift hours listed above, plus overtime. (Overtime in most Distribution Centers is mandatory to enable real-time delivery)
• Able to perform repetitive and manual tasks on a consistent basis.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively; products vary in weight and size
• Comfortable walking up to 8 miles per shift (steps vary by role and shift)
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Nice to have

• Warehouse or Distribution experience preferred (1 year or less)
• Able to work with RF scanning equipment
