Job summary

Worldwide Golf Shops LLC is seeking a Warehouse Associate in the Raleigh area to support pick/pack, dock receiving and inventory control at our distribution center. Experience with golf clubs is helpful for handling product receipt and basic club repair tasks.

Weekend work is required. Forklift or cherry picker training may be provided; strong attention to detail and reliable teamwork are essential for accurate order fulfilment.

Qualifications

• Computer literacy with mouse and barcode scanner proficiency.
• Ability to follow standardized procedures and instructions.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Cherry picker experience and certification a plus; training provided.
• High school level math and reading skills.
• Physically able to lift at least 25 pounds and climb ladders.
• Forklift certification and related experience a plus (not required).
• Distribution center and order fulfilment experience a plus (not required).

Responsibilities

• Assist with dock receipt of inbound packages from suppliers.
• Clean and sort preowned golf clubs for inventory receipt.
• Consolidate inventory on shelves and perform cycle counts.
• Presort golf equipment and store in bin locations.
• Create transfer shipments to other distribution centers.
• Receive inventory from POs and RA’s into receiving systems.
• Assist with receipt of customer return packages.
• Learn to operate forklift or cherry picker for put-away.
• Pick products from bin locations for shipping to customers.
• Pack out customer orders and ensure accuracy.
• Support general facility maintenance and daily operations as needed.

Summary:

Golf Products Warehouse Associate: Our warehouse associates assist with tasks like pick/pack to support shipping activity, dock receiving, material handling, UPC purchase order receiving and customer return order processing to support the receiving process. Those with golf club knowledge or golf industry experience might be a great fit to assist with the receipt and inspection of golf products and perform some basic club repair and club building activities.

*This position must be open to working weekends.

Essential Functions Include:

• Assist with dock receipt of inbound packages from our suppliers
• Clean and sort preowned golf clubs for preparation of receipt into inventory
• Consolidate inventory on shelves, perform cycle counts on binned inventory
• Presort golf equipment and put away received inventory to shelved bin locations
• Create transfer shipments of inventory sent out to our other distribution centers
• Receive inventory from PO’s and RA’s into receiving applications
• Assist with receipt of customer return packages
• Safely learn to operate a fork lift or cherry picker to assist with put away and picking
• Pick products from bin locations so they can be shipped quickly to our customers
• Pack out customer orders and exceed expectations for our customer’s orders
• Assist with general facility maintenance, cleaning and other daily operations, as needed

Experience/Skills required:

• Computer literate, competent use of a mouse and scan wedge/barcode scanner
• Strong attention to detail; tenacity to ensure accuracy and completion of all assignments
• Ability to accept direction and work independently following standardized procedures and instructions received from supervisors
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
• Cherry picker experience and certification a plus; will train candidates
• High school level math and reading skills
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds
• Physically able to climb ladders for product picking, binning and storage; up to 25’
• Fork lift certification and experience considered a plus; not required
• Distribution center and order fulfilment experience considered a plus; not required
